  1. The Manchester Citywide Arts Festival "Street Fair" will be held on Hanover Street on Saturday. It's the culmination of a week-long arts festival in the Queen City. The Street Fair will feature artists, artisans, and crafters. You will also find performance art, live music and dance, food trucks, and more. The Fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Opera Block of Hanover Street. And it's not just Hanover Street that's celebrating. Related Street Fair events will also be happening at partner locations throughout the city. For a full list of events, please click here. (The Palace Theatre)
  2. Speaking of festivals, Manchester's largest annual Greek Festival, GLENDI 2022, is this weekend at Saint Gorge Greek Orthodox Cathedral on 650 Hanover St. The family-friendly Greek festival starts on Friday, Sept. 16, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 18. There will be Greek dinner and food, like the famous Greek Lamb Shank. There are also Greek specialties like spanakopita (spinach pie), as well as desserts like baklava, and more! Greek dancers will be performing in costume Saturday night at 7 p.m. Both Friday and Saturday nights will feature Greek music, dancing, and a fun and festive atmosphere. The festival hours Friday and Saturday are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shuttle service starts Friday, Sept 16, at 4:30 p.m. from Derryfield Parking Lot and McDonough School Parking Lot. (St George NH)
  3. Sugar maple trees are already hinting that fall is almost here. Some leaves already have a tinge of orange, yellow, or red around the edges. It's not always easy to time when New Hampshire's trees will burst into vibrant peak foliage. "Figuring out the perfect time to catch peak foliage in New Hampshire can be a bit of a leap of faith," Visit NH.org noted on its website. To help time peak foliage in your area, VisitNH provides fall foliage tracking for Bedford and around New Hampshire. Click here to view a text only version of the most updated foliage reports."
