- The Manchester City Library is holding a $10 Bag Book Sale tomorrow, Jul. 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Winchell Room on the library's lower level. Visitors can purchase as many books, CDs, and DVDs as they can fit into an average-sized grocery bag for $10. Visit the library website or call directly at 603- 624-6550 to learn more. - Police have issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Dyllon Potvin of Manchester in connection with a firearm-related incident that occurred on Jul. 22. Officials established probable cause to charge Potvin with felony reckless conduct and falsifying evidence after a neighbor reportedly discovered a bullet in the wall of a nearby apartment. This is the second firearm-related incident Potvin has been connected to in recent months. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Manchester Police at 603-668-8711. - A local man faces new charges after a multi-year crime spree across the state that included multiple offenses committed in Manchester. 43-year-old Randall P. Francis of Bedford was arrested in nearby Concord by a patrol officer on Jul. 19 after being found in possession of a stolen vehicle. While on bail out of Manchester last year, Francis was accused of felony and misdemeanor theft, possessing drugs, resisting arrest, and more. He is due back in superior court for a status conference regarding those cases on Aug. 29. (Patch)
