Manchester Mayor Endorses Stephen For District 4 Executive Council
Jay Ruais endorsed John Stephen's candidacy for District 4 Friday, saying he had the background, experience, and temperament for the seat.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais endorsed John Stephen’s candidacy for Executive Council District 4 on Friday.
Mayor Ruais won a historic election in Manchester last year and is excited to support John Stephen as he fights to grow the New Hampshire advantage.
This morning, Mayor Ruais released the following statement:

“I am honored to endorse John Stephen for Executive Council District 4. I have known John for a number of years, and he has the perfect background, experience, and temperament to be a fantastic councilor representing our interests up in Concord. He will be a champion for the taxpayer! Please remember to make a plan to vote on Tuesday, Sept. 10.”
John Stephen, who will face five primary opponents this Tuesday, Sept. 10, released the following statement:

“Mayor Ruais has achieved wonderful things for the city of Manchester, and I am honored to have his endorsement. My family has lived in New Hampshire for a generation, and I attribute much of our success to the opportunities this state has provided. I am excited to do my part to grow the New Hampshire advantage, to save hard-earned taxpayer dollars, and protect the conservative ideals that make New Hampshire strong. It is important, now more than ever, that we have a strong Executive Council as we transition into the next phase of New Hampshire leadership.”
