  1. A portion of the Manchester VA Medical Center will be closed "until further notice." A pipe leak and related flooding caused water damage on floors two, three, and four in the main building. Officials say the repairs could take several days. (Subscription: New Hampshire Union Leader)
  2. A pet dog died in a house fire on Allen Street in Manchester on Saturday evening. Officials have classified the fire as accidental, citing a faulty portable washing machine started the fire.
