1. Will "North Woods Law" be filming new episodes in New Hampshire this year? The show follows New Hampshire conservation officers as they rescue lost hikers, capture injured animals and patrol the North Woods. The series has been on hold since the April merger between AT&T’s Warner Media and Discovery Inc., according to Steven Engel, president and executive producer of New York-based Engel Entertainment. "We hope there will be new episodes,” he said Thursday in a phone interview. (Subscription/The Union Leader)
2. Hundreds of evicted families waiting for affordable housing are living in hotels—and they don't know how long they will have to wait. Southern New Hampshire Services (SNHS) is covering the costs for families with no place to live in Manchester. Officials said the pandemic and a tight New Hampshire real estate market has disproportionately affected very low income residents, who are being evicted from housing when landlords need to update aging buildings. The low income residents say the short-term accommodations are nice, but "it's not home." (Manchester Ink Link)
3. Today is the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Walk/Run 2022 at the Boston Common.
