- The award-winning Business NH Magazine was purchased by Granite Media Group, a company that was formed by "Matthew J. Mowry, who has served as editor of Business NH Magazine for 22 years; the magazine's creative director, Christine Carignan, a 16-year veteran of the magazine; and Nathan Karol, founder & president of Cardinal Consulting in Bethlehem." They purchased the magazine from Heidi Copeland, president and publisher of Millyard Communications. who joined the company in 2005 as associate publisher and then purchased the magazine in 2011, but is now retiring. - Flags in Manchester were flying at half-staff Sunday to honor fallen firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty. The firefighters were honored at the 41st National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service ceremony in Emmitsburg, Maryland. (WMUR Manchester)
- The Rare Coin and Currency Expo is returning to the Doubletree Hilton in Manchester Oct. 14-15. The show will have over 200 tables with more than 100 dealers "from every New England state." Dealers will be coming from as far away as NY, NJ, MD, PA, TX, and WY. You will find rare and collectible coins and currency for sale. Many dealers will also be offering free appraisals!
