Winter fun in the Queen City (unionleader.com) — If you’re staying in Manchester this winter, you’ve got plenty to do right in town, from big-name shows at the SNHU Arena to classic productions at the Palace Theatre. Local options range from McIntyre Ski Area and city ice rinks to museum discounts, Millyard trails, and kid-friendly science exhibits, all within easy reach of Queen City neighborhoods. 
2. New Hampshire inventor Dean Kamen shown with Jeffrey Epstein in newly released photo (wmur.com) — Manchester-based inventor Dean Kamen, known for leading advanced biotech manufacturing in the city, appears in a newly released photo from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate alongside Richard Branson and Epstein. The undated image, part of a House Oversight Committee release, surfaces amid earlier references to Kamen in Epstein-related flight logs, though Kamen has not been accused of any wrongdoing.
3. Largest New Hampshire cities see downward trend in opioid overdoses (wmur.com) — Manchester and Nashua are seeing a decade-low number of suspected opioid overdoses, with just 31 cases recorded in November. Local efforts to house and treat unhoused residents are being credited for the decline, and officials say overdose numbers have been trending downward for about a year.
4. Forum discusses housing crisis in New Hampshire (wmur.com) — New Hampshire’s housing shortage took center stage at a Saint Anselm College forum, where Manchester Mayor Jay Ruais warned the state could be 60,000 units short by 2030. With Manchester Sen. Keith Murphy citing a 59% worsening crisis, business and policy leaders urged residents statewide to embrace growth and push for more housing of all types.
