1. Neighbors worry proposed Mammoth Road development would bring flooding, traffic, rats to their streets (inklink.news) — Neighbors in eastern Manchester are pushing back against a proposed 30‑unit townhouse project on Mammoth Road, warning it could worsen flooding, traffic, and rodent problems on nearby streets like Melrose, Ruth, and Gordon. City engineers and the developer say redesigned drainage and low traffic volumes will limit impacts, and the Planning Board is expected to decide on the project at its Dec. 18 meeting. 
2. Person Takes Their Own Life After Police Chase In Manchester And Londonderry (patch.com) — A police pursuit that began in Manchester and continued into Londonderry ended late Tuesday night when the driver was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot at a Route 28 gas station, according to radio traffic. Manchester officers reportedly used pepper balls and a drone while nearby residents sheltered in place, and no officers fired their weapons. Officials have not yet released further details.
3. Santa Fund donors for Dec. 11, 2025 (unionleader.com) — Local generosity is on full display as individuals, families, clubs, and businesses — including the Manchester Garden Club and Lindner Dental Associates — contribute to the Santa Fund. Dozens of memorial and holiday messages accompany donations ranging from $25 to $1,000, bringing the running total to $27,155.
4. CLF appeals federal approval of Manchester wastewater permit (unionleader.com) — Manchester’s wastewater treatment plant is facing a legal challenge from an environmental group that says its new federal permit allows PFAS “forever chemicals” to reach the Merrimack River. The appeal argues EPA failed to set proper limits, raising concerns for nearby neighborhoods, local anglers, and downstream communities that rely on the river for drinking water.
