Here are the top stories today in Manchester:
- Music performances are coming to the Pavilion at Stark Park! As part of the 2022 Summer Concert Series, The Love Dogs will bring its fun powerhouse blues sound that is a combination of "jump blues, New Orleans R&B, and early rock 'n' roll" to the Stark Park Pavilion on Sunday, July 10, at 2-4 p.m. The group was voted "Best New England Band" by Blues Audience. Then on Sunday, July 17, from 2-4 p.m, you can catch the Tom Nutile Big Band —one of the region’s "most accomplished and exciting big bands." - The Palace Theater Rex Theater and Spotlight Room have a variety of shows and music performances this summer. This month, you can catch the award-winning show, "Legally Blonde, The Musical," playing at the Palace Theater. The story "follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams." Legally Blonde is playing June 3-26. - This unique outside event is worth a special mention! Did you know that The Palace Theatre offers an annual outside garden tour? The Palace Theatre 3rd Annual Garden Tour is a self-paced tour of several private gardens in Manchester, "with special stops along the way." The event will be on Saturday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Demers Garden Center in Manchester. Tickets are $25 in advance, or $30 day of the event.
