- What's the real story behind the windowless building with a yellow facade on Elm Street, across from Ben & Jerry's? Manchester Ink Link writer Elizabeth Ropp tracked down the owner, Henry Demers to find out. Demers purchased the building in 2010, hoping to tear down the facade and restore the building. Demers said he has the money to get the project started but has "struggled to find people to take on the project." Demers said the historic downtown building used to be a department store in the '50s, and offices in the building at one time had a photography studio and dental office. - If you are looking for live entertainment to kick off your weekend, here is a quick summary of local performances Friday night in the weekend roundup by Robert Dionne of Ted Herbert Music School & Rentals: On Friday, June 10, at 6 p.m. will find live music in Manchester at Firefly, Fratello's, The Derryfield Deck and the Backyard Brewery. Then, at 7:30 p.m., there's live music at Murphy's in Bedford. At 9 p.m. you will find music performances in Manchester at Bonfire, The Goat, and Shaskeen — just to name a few. - Investigators said on Thursday that they found the owner of a SUV caught on surveillance video in connection with the shooting deaths of a Concord couple found near the Marsh Loop Trail on April 21, and determined the owner of the vehicle is not involved in the case. Officials are asking for the public's help to identify a "clean-shaven white man in his late 20s or 30s," pictured in a sketch released May 17. He was wearing a dark blue jacket, possibly with a hood, and khaki-colored pants, carrying a black backpack. A reward of up to $33,500 is offered for information that leads to the "arrest and indictment of the person or people responsible for the killings." You can read more about this story here: (WMUR)
