  1. Sample different wines and unique craft beers with passed hors d’oeuvres by the chef at Vine & Hops at The Hill Bar and Grille in Manchester today on Wednesday, July 20. The evening will support a great cause! A portion of the proceeds will benefit Social Olympics. The Hill Bar and Grille, located at picturesque McIntyre Ski Area at 50 Chalet Court, will offer samples of a variety of "wines, beers, ciders, and seltzers, paired with creative charcuterie and passed hors d’oeuvres." Sip N' Support a great cause from 6 -8 p.m., with VIP admission at 5 p.m. (Vine And Hops)
  2. The fire at Caesario's Pizza on Elm Street on July 18 has been ruled accidental. The iconic Downtown Manchester pizza restaurant will be closed until the damage can be repaired. The fire broke out when the restaurant was closed and was reported to the fire department by an observant passerby. The Manchester Fire Prevention Bureau discovered the fire was "the result of an accidental electrical malfunction." In a statement posted on social media, Caesario’s said, "they are not sure what the future holds." (Manchester Ink Link)
  3. Good news, New Hampshire! The unemployment rate in New Hampshire has hit a record low, state officials said Tuesday. Even though restaurants still struggle to find workers, New Hampshire Employment Security said the state currently only has a 2 percent unemployment rate. Richard Lavers, the deputy commissioner of New Hampshire Employment Security, said New Hampshire has had "the lowest unemployment rates in the Northeast" throughout 2022. Lavers noted that "the record pace of hiring and job creation is expected to continue." (WMUR)
  4. An 1890s New Englander hot is for sale in Manchester. The home, located at 74 Platts Avenue is listed for $375000. It's handicapped accessible, has a large lot with expansion possibilities, and is near trails and downtown. (Patch)
