Here are the top stories in Manchester today:

  1. Dozens of catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles at a postal service facility and a UPS location over the weekend. Manchester police are investigating the thefts of more than 27 catalytic converters from postal service and UPS trucks on Brown Avenue in Manchester. The thefts were discovered Monday. Thieves are after precious metals used in the converters. Alain Ata, owner of Ataboys Auto, said,"vehicle owners can install a shield underneath the car to protect it." He also recommended "parking in a garage or somewhere with cameras." (WMUR)
  2. Manchester Police arrested a 20-year-old Manchester man after he allegedly tried to rob the Granite Street Dunkin’ Donuts. Police were called to Dunkin' on Sunday at 6:45 p.m., when someone reported that a man wearing a black fur-lined hooded jacket entered the store with a gun and demanded money. When man left the store, he ran toward the Granite Street Bridge, where officers arrested him. (Manchester Ink Link)
  3. A shout-out to New Hampshire resident Mark Ericson, who went to Key West to help a radio station in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Mark Ericson, known in New Hampshire for his work in radio and with the Special Olympics, traveled to Florida to help a radio station that had been knocked off the air. "Ericson said he did some work for a radio station in Key West a few years ago." Way to go! (WMUR)
