  1. A 26-year-old Manchester woman was scammed out of $8,400 through a popular money transfer app, police said. Katelyn DuLong paid money to a person she believed was a Bank of America employee letting her know about a potential "unauthorized transfer" from her bank account. The microbiologist was caught in a sophisticated scam involving Zelle, a money transfer app, text messages, and calls from a spoofed telephone number. Police said they have received at least four other complaints about Zelle-related scams in June. (Subscription/The Union Leader)
  2. What are the top seven Parks in Manchester? According to Yelp reviewers, Livingston Park had the most positive reviews and scored the number one spot! The next favorite park was Arms Park, followed by Derryfield Park, Pine Island Park, Lake Massabesic, Lafayette Park, and Stark Park. (Yelp)
  3. New Hampshire is offering $100 million to build new housing to address the critical shortage in the state. The housing shortage is so drastic "that it's now directly impacting the economy." Businesses say they can't attract new workers because they can't find housing in the state. “If it’s difficult for a new medical resident to accept his residency at an area hospital because they can’t find housing they can afford — you can imagine what it's like for a single parent with a couple of kids," said Elissa Margolin of Housing Action New Hampshire. Applications for the funding will be available Monday, officials said. (WMUR)
