Accused Speeders Charged During Merrimack Turnpike Enforcement
Nashua, Manchester drivers were arrested during an Everett Turnpike enforcement focused on aggressive driving, "Jessica's Law" violators.

MERRIMACK, NH — New Hampshire State Police and others were on the Everett Turnpike again Tuesday as part of an operation turnpike protection effort.
During the morning hours, troopers from Troop B and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department deputies made numerous stops, mainly focusing on aggressive drivers and “Jessica’s Law” violators. “Jessica’s Law” requires drivers to clear snow and ice from vehicles before driving.
Two people were charged: Flavia Maria Nascimento Gonzaga, 38, of Nashua was summoned to court on operating without a license and speeding charges. Rishikesh Puntikura, 22, of Manchester was arrested on driving without a license, suspended registration, and speeding-25+ over the speed limit charges.

Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the department, said the enhanced enforcement effort would continue through the month of December and into the New Year to improve safety during commuting hours.
