Anheuser-Busch Brings The Orchard To You With New Virtual Tasting
Anheuser-Busch certified cicerones® will take guests on a virtual tasting experience with fruit-infused brews.

Leaf peeping, comfy flannel, and orchards: they’re the reason for the fall season! Now, Anheuser-Busch invites fans to check out the fresh-picked flavor of harvest ciders and brews to compliment your entire autumn experience. Join us for the “From the Orchard” Virtual Tasting taking place on Thursday, November 5 at 6 p.m. CST.

From hints of Macintosh apples, to Colorado peaches, to French pear flavors, Certified Cicerones® Mick O'Halloran and Robb Jeffrey will guide you through a Virtual Tasting of the orchards. Learn about fermented ciders and fruit-infused brews, all of which act as perfect additions to any autumn dish. You’ll even get access to farmhouse favorite recipe pairings for each beverage (linked below). Choosing your go-to beverage this fall will be as easy as apple pie!

- Busch Light Apple (4.1% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: Busch Light Apple is a refreshing, light lager that combines the crispness of Busch with the light sweetness of apple flavor.
- Paired with: Gorgonzola and Bacon Dip
- Stella Artois Cidre (4.5% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: Stella Artois Cidre is a sophisticated cider with full flavors of red apple and peachy, apricot hints, complimented in the background with a subtle flavor of spicy oranges and an almond flowery character. This gives it a clean, refreshing, crisp and sweet sour taste, with a woody pleasing finish.
- Paired with: Curry Chicken Salad Wraps
- Virtue Cider Rosé (6.7% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: Virtue Cider Rosé is a blend of hand-pressed heirloom local apples aged in French oak barrels. It is truly cider made like wine with floral notes and a dry, crisp finish.
- Paired with: Cheddars Only Cheese Board
- Virtue Cider Michigan Apple (5.5% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: Michigan Apple is crisp and tart, starting with the scent of the orchard, a hint of oak, and finishing with a touch of sweetness.
- Paired with: Cheddars Only Cheese Board
- Breckenridge Colorado Core (4.8% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: Colorado Core has the crisp, tart taste of apples with a clean, bone dry finish.
- Paired with: Bloomin' Apples
- Breckenridge Palisade Peach (5.3% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: Utilizing only the finest peaches from the nationally recognized orchards of Palisade Colorado, Palisade Peach Wheat is a laid-back porch-side refresher. This fruit forward unfiltered American style wheat ale is bursting with bright and juicy peach flavor.
- Paired with: Fresh Peach Trifle
- Wicked Weed La Bonté Pear (5.5% ABV)
- Tasting Notes: La Bonté is open fermented with our house Brettanomyces yeast strains. The beer is then blended with a portion of Blonde Sour and onto a half pound per gallon of French Pears. Then we age the beer in bottles until it reaches perfection.
- Paired with: Autumn Pear Salad

Tickets for the event are $10 and, once signed up, participants will receive a confirmation email with a link to the Zoom session, a list of beverages to purchase from their favorite local retailer, as well as a printable “From the Orchard” digital tasting guide which will be used to guide their tasting experience during the event. Participants can also download their Recipe Cards by clicking on each food pairing above.
