Bicycle Struck By Pickup Truck On Continental Boulevard In Merrimack

The 44-year-old bicyclist was seriously injured and rushed to the Elliot Hospital, where the trauma team was activated.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack Fire Rescue and police responded to Continental Boulevard on Wednesday for a report of an accident involving a pickup truck and a bicycle.

Responders arrived at about 4:45 p.m. and located a pickup truck operated by Sebastian Osorio Bendivelson, who had been driving east on Continental Boulevard.

An injured 44-year-old man who had been on a bicycle was provided medical attention by firefighters and medics.

Witnesses told police they saw a bicyclist crossing Continental Boulevard from the area of Peachtree Lane when the bicyclist was struck by the pickup truck in front of Dobson Way.

It was determined the bicyclist had severe injuries and was transported to the Elliot Hospital Trauma Center, where the trauma team was activated, according to Merrimack police.
