Fatal Tractor-Trailer Accident In Manchester Kills Merrimack Driver
A 62-year-old Merrimack woman was killed when the truck left Brown Avenue near Pine Island Road and crashed into trees.
MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Fire, police, and AMR ambulance responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on Brown Avenue near Pine Island Road on Monday.
Responders arrived at about 1:30 a.m. and found a tractor-trailer traveling south on Brown Avenue left the right side of the roadway and struck several trees. The woman driving the truck died at the scene.
Manchester police blocked sections of Brown Avenue throughout the morning commute while Manchester Parks and Rec worked to cut several trees from around the truck. Duval’s Towing worked to remove the vehicle, which was down an embankment and was at the scene for several hours.

The truck appears to be a truck used to transport mail between postal locations.
Police say the driver of the truck is a 62-year-old woman from Merrimack.
