I Have a Dream. 50 years ago today, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his infamous "I Have A Dream Speech in Washington D.C. Today, communities around the state will honor the legacy of King in a variety of ways. Check out the events calendar on the NH Humanities Council website for more information on events near Merrimack.
Final summer concert. Let summer out with a bang at tonight's final concert in the summer concert series in Abbie Griffin Park. The Fountain Square Ramblers will perform for the summer's final crowd. Their Dixeland style of music formed the sound track for America's Jazz Age, the "roaring 20's of bootleggers, flappers, victrola's and the talking picture! Bring a picnic basket and blanket, your family and friends and join for a night of toe tapping music that everyone will love!

Today's forecast calls for scattered showers with thunderstorms also possible after noon, otherwise, mostly sunny with a high near 84. Tonight, isolated showers. Patchy fog after 5 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Visit Foxwoods. Join the Merrimack Lioness Club for a Sept. 21 trip to Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. Depart from Tractor Supply/The Commons at 8 a.m. and return home 6 p.m. Tickets are $32/per person. Includes: free Festival Buffet or $10 food voucher and $10 Casino slot bonus.
