Kids' Fun, Food Drive At Merrimack Highway Open House This Sat

MERRIMACK, NH — Community members are invited to this Saturday's open house at the newly constructed highway building. The open house will feature fun kids' activities including a Touch-A-Truck event, demonstrations from public works officials, and a "fill a truck with nonperishable food" initiative.

The open house will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the new public works highway facility, located at 76 Turkey Hill Road in Merrimack. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility will take place at 9 a.m. The nonperishable food donations will go to the local food banks and raise awareness of the Public Works Department's operations.

The event will take place rain or shine.
