Merrimack Gas Station Burglarized; Police Ask Public's Help

Merrimack police said two individuals stole cash from a Daniel Webster Highway gas station.

MERRIMACK, NH -- Merrimack police asked the public's help tracking down two men who burglarized a gas station on the Daniel Webster Highway over the weekend. The burglary happened at about 10 p.m. at the Rapid Refill when it was closed and the suspects made off with cash and cigarettes, according to Merrimack Police Lieutenant Dean KillKelley.

"Two male subjects enter the store, one attempts to open the safe while the other is taking cash from the register and places several cigarettes packs into plastic bags, and they leave the store within
minutes," KellKelley said in a statement.

The first suspect was described as a white man with jeans, a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, face mask and sneakers. The second suspect was described as a black man with jeans, a maroon-colored sweatshirt, sneakers and a face mask.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Merrimack police at 603-424-3774. Citizens can also contact the Merrimack Crimeline at 603-424-2424 to remain anonymous.

"The Merrimack Crimeline is offering a cash reward to any person or persons who give information
leading to the arrest of the persons involved," KillKelley added.
