Merrimack Man Charged with Domestic Imprisonment

A Merrimack man is facing a domestic related charge after he refused to let a woman out of a room on Monday.

Julio Nunez, 29, of 86 East Ridge Road was charged with domestic related false imprisonment.

Merrimack Police said they received an abandoned 911 call coming from a residence on East Ridge Road at 7:03 p.m. Monday. Upon calling back, the dispatcher spoke with a female party there who said Nunez wouldn't let her leave the room. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the involved parties. After a brief investigation it was determined that Nunez had made efforts to prevent a family member’s physical movement from one area of the home to the other.

Nunez was arrested and transported to the Merrimack Police Department for processing. He was later released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail pending his arraignment before the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack on Tuesday.
