Merrimack Man Indicted on Theft Charges
22-year-old man charged with stealing tools from Sears in Nashua.

A young Merrimack man was indicted by a Hillsborough County grand jury in Novemberon charges of theft by unauthorized taking and attempted theft by unauthorized taking for two separate incidents at stores in Nashua.
According to court documents, Letourneau, 22, of 302 Continental Boulevard, stole more than $1,500 of tools from Sears between April 28 and 30. He also attempted to steal more than $1,000 in merchandise from Best Buy on June 8.
According to the court documents, Letournea was found at a counter in the Best Buy store using pliers to cut security tags off of the Playstation 3 games.
If convicted, Letourneau faces up to 7 1/2 to 15 years in prison and up to $4,000 in fines for the theft charge, a class A felony. The sentence is up to a year in jail and up to $2,000 in fines for the attempted theft charge, a class A misdemeanor.
An indictment is not a finding of innocence or guilt, it is a grand jury's decision that there is enough information to move the case forward toward trial.
