Merrimack Pedestrian Arrested For Running In Front Of Vehicle
A 22-year-old Manchester man is facing charges after being seriously hurt in a vehicle accident. Police say he ran in front of a vehicle.

MERRIMACK, NH — A Manchester pedestrian is facing charges after being struck by a vehicle last month and being seriously injured. Police say that Brian Caron, 22, of Manchester, caused the accident after running in front of a vehicle traveling on Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. He turned himself in to police on a warrant Friday.
Police say that around 9:55 p.m. on April 13, they came upon a group of people gathered around the post office, and learned that a pedestrian had been involved in a accident. According to police, Caron had left Jade Dragon at the Merrimack Commons with a group of friends. Then, according to witnesses, Caron walked up an embankment, jumped over a guardrail and ran in front of a vehicle that was traveling north on Daniel Webster Highway, police say.
Caron was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital. The vehicle sustained damage but the driver was not injured, according to police.

After a warrant was issued for his arrest, Caron on Friday turned himself in on charges of Class B misdemeanor criminal mischief, violation-level disorderly conduct and violation-level pedestrian in the roadway. He is currently free on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear at Merrimack District Court on Thursday.
