Merrimack Police Seek Tips After Nashua Bicyclist Struck On Route 101A By Nashua Driver In A Minivan
Antonio De Leon, 66, suffered serious bodily injury after Marcel Couturier, 93, the driver of the minivan, struck him from behind on Monday.
MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police are investigating a crash involving a bicyclist who was injured on Route 101A on Monday morning.
Just after 11:15 a.m., police and fire and rescue teams were sent to the eastbound side of the highway near Hall Avenue for a report of a vehicle and bicycle crash.
The preliminary investigation, according to Lt. Chris Spillane of the Merrimack Police Department, determined that a 2000 Honda Odyssey, being driven by Marcel Couturier, 93, of Nashua, struck the bicyclist from behind. Antonio De Leon, 66, of Nashua, was riding the bike and suffered serious bodily injury. He was transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment and then, taken to Boston, due to the severity of the injuries.

Spillane said the crash was still under investigation. No charges have been filed in the case.
