Merrimack Toll Plaza Demolition Begins On Northbound Offramp

NH Department of Transportation and NH Demolition began to remove the toll plaza at Exit 10. The toll has not been collected since January.

MERRIMACK, NH — Demolition of the toll plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike Exit 10 offramp began on Saturday.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced they would stop collecting tolls at the on and off-ramp for exit 10 beginning in January.

Saturday, the northbound offramp was closed as crews from New Hampshire Demolition and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation removed the canopy over the toll plaza and began removing the concrete that previously surrounded the toll collectors.

The demolition of the toll plaza on the southbound onramp will occur in the future, but no tolls there have been collected since January.
