Pigs Playing In Traffic Are Safely Secured By Litchfield Police Officer
Officer Taylor Dezotell safely rounded up the pigs from Charles Bancroft Highway on Wednesday. The pigs were secured and then returned home.
LITCHFIELD, NH — When first responders show up at work, they truly never know what their next call is going to be from dispatch.
Litchfield Police Patrol Officer Taylor Dezotell was dispatched Wednesday to the busy Charles Bancroft Highway for a report of pigs in the roadway.
When Dezotell, arrived she found some pigs had escaped their fenced area and were taking a stroll in traffic. The officer was able to round up the pigs, safely secure them, and return them to their owner.

Litchfield police posted on their Facebook posted a message immediately after saying, "Yes, there are a plethora of jokes to be made. Yes, the pigs are okay. Yes, Dezotell is still laughing.”
