Incidents were at two separate businesses in Merrimack.

A 28-year-old was indicted by a Hillsborough County grand jury this month on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking for allegedly stealing landscaping equipment from P&L Landscaping.
According to court documents, Richard Pinkham of 32B Lake St., Nashua, worked with Matthew Wilusz to steal an unknown number of back flow preventers from the Daniel Webster Highway business between Feb. 5 and 25. The items were valued at more than $1,500.
The charge constitutes a class A felony and carries a sentence of up to 7 ½ to 15 years in prison and up to $4,000 in fines.
Also indicted was David Medina-Roig, 28, of 445 Willow St., Manchester, on a charge of theft by deception. According to court documents, Medina-Roig selected a diamond necklace at A&E Diamonds and Gems in March and paid for it using a check he knew could not be cashed. The check was written for more than $1,000 but less than $1,500.
Medina-Roig's class B felony charge constitutes up to 3 ½ to 7 years in prison and up to $4,000 in fines.
