Woman Accused of Simple Assault

Merrimack police responded to a domestic dispute at a local hotel early Thursday morning arrested a local woman for alleged simple assault.

Police said Caitlin Higgins, 26, of 246 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, was charged with two counts of simple assault.

It is alleged that Higgins "pushed and bit the victim on the arm," according to police.

Higgins was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to answer to the charges in court on June 5.
