Gatsby, The Beatles, Shopping for a Cause, and Jewels
Patch has some fun things to do this weekend in New Hampshire.

- Gatsby on the Isles. At 10 a.m. on Saturday, the "S.S. Gatsby" docks in Portsmouth harbor to take you on a fun tour of the harbor, with hot jazz music from the 1920s as a backdrop. Bring your picnic gear and prepare for fun on the Isles of Shoals. Attendees are invited to dress in clothes that fit the era too. Tickets are $48.
- Ukulele picnic. The Nashua Park & Recreation Department is holding what it believes to be the first ever New Hampshire Ukulele Picnic from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Greeley Park Bandshell in Nashua. Performers from New Hampshire and Vermont will be playing and you will have a chance to win a ukulele from Ohana Ukulele. The event is free.
- Macy’s Shop For A Cause. Macy’s Department Stores in Bedford, Manchester, Nashua, Newington, and Salem, all host the company’s annual fundraiser on Saturday with proceeds going to various charities. Buy a $5 pass and enjoy savings at every store.
- 4EverFab. The Beatles cover band plays at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Fields of Dreams park amphitheater on Geremonty Drive in Salem. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show.
- Gems, minerals, jewels. Capital Mineral Club will be holding its 50th annual Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show at the Everett Arena on Loudon Road in Concord. Fossils, gems, jewels, books, and other cool stuff. The show opens Saturday at 9 a.m.; Sunday at 10 a.m. Tickets are $5, children under 12 are free. Proceeds go to scholarships for earth science students.
