For more than six decades, the Milford Rotary Club has been putting the Rotary International motto of “Service Above Self” into practice by contributing to the betterment of our local, regional and international communities. The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through its fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.

Club members regularly support End Polio Now, a Rotary International campaign, and Pure Water for the World. Recently, Milford Rotarians made a three year financial commitment to the Milford office of Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support totaling $30,000. The club annually grants $25,000 in scholarships to area students. Funds for this and other projects are raised through the annual 100 Holes of Golf in One Day tournament held in July at the Amherst Country Club, a pancake breakfast in September and an annual Christmas tree sale that have become local traditions for many residents.
