Public Input Sought for Osgood Pond Dredging

A meeting will be held at Milford Town Hall to discuss the project.

A public information session will be held on Monday, August 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting Room in Town Hall to provide an update on efforts to dredge a portion of Osgood Pond.

Input will be sought from abutters as it relates to the pending application to dredge the Pond that will be submitted to the NH DES Wetlands Bureau.

Osgood Pond off of Route 101 is the largest pond in Milford at 20 acres. It is an artificially constructed pond that is about six feet deep at its deepest point. You can find  white perch, horned pout, and largemouth bass fingerlings., yellow perch, chain pickerel, minnows, and sunfish in the pond.
