The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) is proud to announce the opening of a New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet Store in Milford. Located in Market Basket Plaza on Route 101, the New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlet (NHLWO) replaces the store formerly located on Route 101A (Elm Street) in Granite Town Plaza.
The new store enhances the NHLWO’s floor space by nearly 3,000 feet, allowing NHLC to offer a widely-expanded selection of wine and spirits. The new location’s proximity to Route 101 offers shoppers greater convenience. The store is also spacious enough to accommodate special events, such as tastings, to greatly enhance the shopping experience.
The Liquor Commission is in the process of modernizing its stores statewide and the new Milford location brings consumers the very latest in wine and spirit merchandising. The NHLWO complements a high performance, energy efficient and sustainable design standard with significantly expanded retail floor space. The store’s open concept incorporates energy efficient LED lighting, spacious aisles and curved, free-standing shelving that enhances product presentation and visibility. Customers will enjoy the significantly expanded offerings of carefully-selected domestic and imported wines, giving them the opportunity to choose the perfect wine for every day or special occasion.
“Because of its proximity to other southern New Hampshire communities, the Milford store serves customers from a large geographic area,” said New Hampshire Liquor Commissioner Joseph W. Mollica. “This new store on Route 101 gives customers access to many more products than the previous location, conveniently arranged in a more shoppable setting to improve the consumer experience.”

The New Hampshire Liquor Commission has been responsible for the renovation and relocation of several New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets with successful results in Gilford, Plaistow, Portsmouth, North Hampton, Hampstead, Manchester, Merrimack, Nashua, Lincoln, Lebanon, Concord, Peterborough, West Chesterfield and inside the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
