When Is Santa Claus Coming To Milford?

Amherst Tree Lighting Ceremony

When: Friday, Dec. 8
Where: Amherst Village Green, 2 Main St., Amherst, NH 03031
What: Less than 10 minutes from Milford, Amherst will hold its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony for some holiday cheer. This festive event features popcorn and homemade cookies courtesy of Village Bible Church, and cocoa and roasted chestnuts provided by Scouts BSA Troop 22. Enjoy songs and readings by local groups and residents in a cozy community setting. Breakfast with Santa

When: Saturday, Dec. 9
Where: Milford Town Hall Auditorium, 1 Union Square, Milford, NH, 03055
What: Enjoy a delicious meal of pancakes and sausage while having the opportunity to visit Santa, courtesy of the Milford Recreation Department. German Christmas Market

When: Saturday, Dec. 9
Where: Amherst Village Green, 2 Main St., Amherst, NH 03031
What: Step into a festive European-inspired outdoor Christmas Market at the Village Green, located down the road in Amherst. This free community event showcases handmade crafts, local farm products, non-profit organizations and authentic European wares. Savor an array of food options from food trucks and vendors and sip delicious non-alcoholic beverages in the mini-biergarten. The market will be alive with entertainment, including live performances of German music, Christmas classics and Rock 'n' Roll hits, along with a special appearance by Santa! Polar Express Luncheon with Santa

What: Just a short drive from Milford, enjoy a Polar Express-inspired lunch in LaBelle Winery’s festively decorated Great Room. Attendees can enjoy a screening of “The Polar Express” and special activities for children including their own official train ticket and Silver Bell. The highlight of the event will be a live reading of “The Polar Express” by Santa Claus himself, along with photo opportunities. This magical family luncheon offers limited space (spots are currently sold out for children aged 1 and under), so be sure to secure your spot early for a truly memorable holiday experience.
