2 Women Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges
Desirae Drew and Katie Rollins were arrested in separate incidents over the past week.
Nashua Police recently arrested two women on domestic violence related charges.
The first incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, when Nashua Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined that Desirae Drew, 20, of 11 Salem St. had assaulted her significant other. The Special Investigations Division furthered the investigation, which revealed that Drew had strangled the victim during the altercation as well as striking her three other times.
Drew was charged with one count of domestic violence second degree assault and three counts of domestic violence simple assault. She was held on $3,500 cash or surety bail pending her arraignment on Tuesday in 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court.
Another, separate domestic violence incident occurred at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday, when Nashua Police responded to a Nashua address for a report of a domestic dispute. A male victim at that location reported that Katie Rollins 34, of 15 Tamarack St., Hudson had come to his residence, physically assaulted him and caused damage to his property and the property of others. He also reported that Rollins was brandishing a box cutter and was threatening another female and male victim at that location. Rollins had fled the scene in a vehicle prior to the arrival of police. She was later apprehended by police in Hudson.
Rollins is charged with two counts of domestic violence criminal mischief, two counts of criminal mischief, two counts of criminal threatening, four counts of domestic violence simple assault and one count of simple assault. She is being held on $15,000 cash bail at the Nashua Police Department pending arraignment on Wednesday in the 9th Circuit Nashua District Court.
