5 Things: Here Come Santa, to the Pheasant Lane Mall

1. Here Comes Santa: Santa arrived from the North Pole Thursday, and is expected to set up shop at the Pheasant Lane Mall to receive Christmas requests. You are invited to the big Welcome Santa Pajama Parade on Nov. 9 at 6 p.m. at the mall, which will include official welcome with arrival by firetruck, a story, crafts, photos and more. Details here.

2. Did You Attend Artwalk 2013? City Arts Nashua needs your feedback! Share with them your experience at ArtWalk 2013 which was held on September 28 and 29. Click here to complete the visitor survey. On that note, City Arts Nashua also wants to publicly thank all venues, artists, sponsors, and guests for making this year's Art Walk possible. 3. Le Miz: It's already in our weekend round up, but how can we say enough about the upcoming production of  "Les Miserables," by ActorSingers, which begins this weekend? Get your ticket and experience the story of Jean Valjean, a burly French peasant in 19th-century France, and his quest for redemption after serving 19 years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his starving sister's child. November 8-17 at Keefe Center for the Arts, 117 Elm Street. 4. Nashua Students in Derryfield School's 'Guys and Dolls': If you love a good, classic musical, here's something for you: "Guys and Dolls" at the Derryfield School, 2108 River Road in Manchester, starring local students Jordan Parker as General Cartwright and Izzy Gates as a Hot Box Girl. November 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets are $12 and may be purchased in advance at etix.com or at the box office one hour before the show. Here are some details for you.

5. Support Food Drive at Amherst Street School: This is an easy one – drop off some canned goods, or better yet, a supermarket gift card or just write a tax-deductible check and help make life a little easier for children in need. Click here for the full story.
