5 Things: Looking for World Series Ticket? Buyer Beware

1. Raise Your Hand if You've Signed On for Obamacare: On Monday, President Obama said he's going to make sure healthcare.gov gets up to speed. Personally, I haven't had time to check out the site. Curious to know who among you has. Speak up in the comments field, please.

Charter School Meeting Tonight: MicroSociety Charter Academy organization meeting at Nashua Public Library, 2 Court Street, 7 p.m. According to organizers, the MicroSociety Charter Academy will meet all state and local standards enhanced with "real world" concepts that will include its  own currency, bank, market place with student-made goods, restaurant, newspapers, publications, a government with a legislature, a court system with lawyers, judges and "peace patrol," and much more! Curious now? 4. Go Sox! but Fans Beware: Boston Police are reminding Red Sox fans to be careful when purchasing tickets for the World Series, which kicks off in Boston Oct. 23 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Purchasing tickets from unknown entities is done at the buyer's risk, police say, and they recommend using authorized ticketing agencies to get tickets to the games. "Purchasing via other means, creates the potential for possessing either an invalid or counterfeit ticket. Individuals attempting to gain admission using fraudulent tickets will be evicted from the building and face the possibility of arrest," police said in a press release on Monday. If any community members have information about the selling of counterfeit tickets, you are urged to contact District D-4 detectives at (617) 343-4683. Individuals wishing to provide information anonymously may do so by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).

5. Hair Regeneration Breakthrough: Until now, most remedies for baldness, in men and women, have proven unreliable say experts, who are paying attention to this study, published Monday in the online edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. For the first time, researchers have been able to take human dermal papilla cells (those inside the base of human hair follicles) and use them to create new hairs. You can read more here.
