AARP Day at five New Hampshire vineyards. Festivities at these seacoast-area facilities will include free tastings, free tours and other freebies for AARP members. Here’s the line-up of participating wineries. Hours vary slightly so you’ll want to plan accordingly. Before heading out, you might want to check out the specialty wines (and spirits) of each venue as we’re sure they’ll have something to satisfy your palate. And something for the newbie and aficionado alike. Oh, and don’t forget your AARP membership card and photo ID. You’ll need both to access the specials.
- Flag Hill Winery, 297 North River Road; Lee, NH Hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sweet Baby Vineyard, 14 Powwow River Road, East Kingston. Hours: 12 to 5 p.m.
- Jewell Towne Vineyards, 183 Whitehall Road; South Hampton, NH. Hours: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Zorvino Vineyards, 226 Main Street; Sandown, NH. Hours: 12 to 5 p.m.
- Windroc Vineyard, 286 Piscassic Road, Newfields, NH. Hours: 12 to 4 p.m.
