Amy Kerr Exhibit On Display In Nashua, Pheasant Lane Mall
The exhibit will feature 20 portraits accompanied by essays written by the subjects about their struggles with mental health.

NASHUA, NH — Amy Kerr's exhibit "I Am More" will be shown for the first time in New Hampshire at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua starting Jun. 6 through Jul. 11.
"I Am More" has been seen in shopping malls, universities, hospitals, and government buildings around the Northeast as a reminder that we are more than the challenges we face. The exhibit features 20 pastel and colored pencil portraits by Kerr accompanied by essays written by the subjects about how they are more than their health diagnosis or life situation. The topics include depression, addiction, PTSD, surviving the Holocaust, spinal cord injury, hearing loss, alopecia, brain cancer, postpartum depression, Alzheimer's, bullying and anxiety.
"I'm hoping viewers will see someone in the exhibit just like them," Kerr told Patch, "and remember that despite enormous challenges that can overshadow our lives, we all have gifts and loves and goals. Hopefully they will see themselves in a new light and feel less alone."

Kerr, who also struggles with depression, began the project in 2016, and it has grown from a local exhibit to being shown at large shopping centers in the Northeast.
