
NASHUA - Carleton Harry Adams Sr., 87, of Nashua, and formerly of Fruitland, Fla., died May 15, 2013, at the Manchester Veterans Medical Center after an extended illness.
Mr. Adams was born in South Ashburnham, Mass., on Aug. 27, 1926. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Acubens, in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Adams was a cabinet maker by trade. He worked many years for Yours Truly Furniture and then owned and operated Carl's Custom Furniture in Nashua. He also worked many years for Miller Enterprise in Florida.
Mr. Adams, was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Alice Adams, who passed away in 2007. He was also predeceased by a grandson, Chris Lipka. He is survived by six children, Joyce Adams of Nashua, Brenda and her husband John Lipka of Florida, Carleton Adams Jr. of Nashua, Rhonda and her husband Victor Delisle of Nashua, Eve Miller of Florida, and David and his wife Melissa Adams of Florida. Also included are 16 grandchildren, Karen Lipka of Florida, Jason and his wife Jeana Delisle of Nashua, Amy and her husband Rob Wallace of Nashua, Jessica and her husband Nate Ryan of Greenville, Joshua and his wife Jess Adams of Nashua, Benjamin Adams of Nashua, Brittany, Tristen, Avery and Bethany Adams of Florida, Michael Adams of Florida; and 10 great-grandchildren, Alyce, Matthew, Andrew, Jacob, Cash, Barrett, Camrie, Mike, Robert and Gavin of New Hampshire and Florida.
