Guidance Counselors at NHS North and NHS South invite families and students to attend a College Information Night. <ul> <li>6:00 pm Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at North Auditorium</li> </ul> <ul> <li>6:30 pm Thursday, March 28, 2013 at South Auditorium</li> </ul> Counselors will present information about the college admission process, including how to search for colleges, schedule and maximize college visits, register for standardized tests, search for college application deadlines, and other preparatory information. In addition, counselors will introduce Naviance, an online program that helps students explore college options and possible careers suited for their interests and talents. College Information Night is very important for juniors to attend; however, freshmen and sophomores and their parents are welcome as well. The earlier during their high school years that students and parents start thinking and planning for college, the better.
