Diane Delorey: Worked at Amherst Street School, Loved Kids, Dancing, Knitting, and Her Family

NASHUA, NH - Diane M. (St. Hilaire) Delorey, 57, of Nashua, NH passed away very suddenly Sunday May 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. Diane was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on February 23, 1956, a daughter of the late Carmelle (Belanger) and Edmour St. Hilaire of Chelmsford, Mass.
Diane was a graduate of Lowell High School Class of 1974 and was a Major in the Girl Officers. She went on to study secretarial at Castle Junior College where she graduated with an Associate's Degree. Diane loved children and was employed with the Nashua School District as a paraprofessional at Amherst Street School.
Diane enjoyed gardening, dancing, knitting, walking and being with her family. In her youth, Diane also practiced Judo in Massachusetts. In 1982 Diane married the love of her life Daniel R. Delorey III and moved to Nashua, NH in 1986.
In addition to her loving husband, Diane is survived by three children, Daniel R. IV, Krystle M. and Scott M. Delorey all of Nashua; a brother Paul St. Hilaire and his wife Sue of Chelmsford, MA; two sisters, Denise Hua and her husband Phil of Colorado and Louise Gaudet and her husband Charles of Wolfeboro, NH; her husband's parents, Marjorie (White) and Daniel R. Delorey Jr. of Tewksbury, MA; three sisters-in-law and their husbands, Kathy and Phil Morris of Tewksbury, MA, Patricia and Ralph C. Flodin Jr. of Billerica, MA and Pamela J. Delorey of Keene, NH; also many beloved nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by a sister Claudette (St. Hilaire) Collins and her husband Frank of South Carolina. Diane was a loving, kind, genuine person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be held at the Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Friday, May 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Graveside Service will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Riverneck Road in Chelmsford, MA, Saturday morning at 11 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 282 Broad Street, Route 130, Hollis, NH at 1 p.m. Friends are invited to attend.
