Elyse Alkalay: Proud Mom, Loving Wife, Worked for NH AG's Office

Elyse (Rapport) Alkalay, 41, of Nashua died on Monday evening, June 10, 2013 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack with her family by her side.

She was born on November 23, 1971 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, daughter of the late Miriam (Shebitz) Rapport.  Mrs. Alkalay was a graduate of Boston University Law School and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy-Tufts University.  She also studied at the University of Haifa in Israel.

She was the loving wife of Dani Alkalay and the proudest mother of her three children.

Mrs. Alkalay worked in the office of the Attorney General for the State of New Hampshire.  She was a mentor to her colleagues, as well as her family and friends.

She took great pride in her family, friends and work.

In addition to her husband Dani of Nashua, survivors include three children, Razz, Stav, and Nitzann, all of Nashua; two brothers and their families, and numerous cousins.

SERVICES:  A Funeral Service will be held at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street, Nashua on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M.  Friends are invited to attend.  Interment Prayers and burial will follow in Beth Abraham Cemetery, Nashua.  Memorial week will be observed at Mrs. Alkalay’s late residence, 6 Salmon Brook Drive, Nashua from Wednesday through next Tuesday.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation to the Community Hospice House c/o Development, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
