”Because of Public Works” in Nashua
The City of Nashua’s Division of Public Works (DPW) will join in the national celebration of Public Works Week, May 18th through the 26th, with a local event, facility tours, and a drawing contest for the children of Nashua.
Public Works Day will highlight this year’s theme, “Because of Public Works, I Can….” The event will be at Stellos Stadium (next to the YMCA) on Saturday, May 18 from noon to 4 pm. Each of the five departments in the DPW will have a display to feature information about their operations. A bounce house, face painting, refreshments, raffle prizes and souvenirs will be featured, and a trolley will leave the Stadium hourly to loop around the City to showcase the special functions of each department.
