As Seen in Nashua: 'Old Guys Rule' Street Gear

I'm always on the lookout for fun, interesting gear to share with you here on Nashua Patch.

If, like me, you grew up during the 1970s, a time when self-expression rose to an art form in the way of a Keep On Truckin' T-shirts, for example, then you will understand why I am always straining to read what emotions people are wearing on their sleeves – or hats or backs of their T-shirts.

Which brings me to today's "As Seen in Nashua" photo op: As I was driving along Harris Road Monday I spotted this pedestrian sporting an "Old Guys Rule" T-shirt and couldn't resist snapping a photo.

I Googled the slogan, to be sure I got it right, and it turns out to be from the John Wayne Respect series, and has a quote underneath that reads: "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do." It also features a photo of a rifle-toting, John Wayne.

If you'd like to join the ranks of the ruling class, you can find this T-shirt, one in a series of Old Guy Tees featuring all kinds of cool, old guys, at an online site called OldGuysRule.com.
