The single most important pressing issue facing the community is _______ and this is what I intend to do about it

Spending is one of the most important issues. Our city’s budget continues to grow, and with that comes higher taxes and fees for residents. We need to take a serious look at where the money goes and make sure spending reflects real priorities — not waste or unnecessary projects. I want to bring fiscal responsibility and common sense back to City Hall, just like I do in our business every day.

List three other things you would like to work on if elected or re-elected

  1. Strong Neighborhoods: Ward 5 deserves safe, well-kept streets and reliable city services. I’ll push for better maintenance, lighting, and attention to the everyday issues that affect our quality of life.
  2. Responsible Development: Growth is part of progress — but it needs to fit the character of our community. I’ll advocate for development that protects property values, preserves open space, and doesn’t overwhelm our neighborhoods.
  3. Communication and Accessibility: I believe good representation starts with being available and responsive. When residents reach out, I’ll listen and follow up. You’ll always know where I stand and that your voice matters.

Name a couple of accomplishments in the past that show you can handle this position

While I’ve never been a politician, I’ve spent years helping run a successful business, where I’ve learned how to solve problems, manage people, and keep budgets under control.

  • In business, I’ve practiced controlled spending, making sure every dollar counts — the same approach I’ll bring to the city budget.
  • I’ve built teams that work together to get things done, showing how teamwork and accountability lead to results.
  • I understand what it takes to make responsible financial decisions and deliver real results, not just promises.

Share any other thoughts or ideas you would like voters to know about yourself

I’m ready to bring those same values — fiscal discipline, teamwork, and practical problem-solving — to City Hall. Ward 5 deserves a representative who will listen, ask questions, and stand up for taxpayers.
