Connecticut Man Sexually Assaulted Juvenile In Nashua: Police

Nashua police charged Luis Torres Santos with aggravated sexual assault.

NASHUA, NH — Nashua police recently arrested a Connecticut man accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile. Luis Torres Santos, 25, of Waterbury, was charged with aggravated sexual assault. He was held in custody on $50,000 bail.

Police Lt. Robert Page said officers opened an investigation Dec. 24 after receiving a report that Santos sexually assaulted a juvenile known to him. Officers obtained a warrant and arrested him Feb. 8.

Santos was held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending an arraignment in Hillsborough County Superior Court. He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on the sexual assault charge.
