Construction Means Traffic Trouble at Beacon And Amherst

You've been warned, so find some other way around Amherst at Beacon Street, where scheduled water main replacement will otherwise slow you down.

From the city website:

Water Main Replacement Work on October 8th: PWW and their contractor Park Construction will be replacing the water main at the intersection of Amherst St and Beacon St. Traffic will be restricted for a short while to one-lane traffic, approximately from 9am-10am. Otherwise normal 2-way traffic will resume. Working hours are from 9am-3pm.
