The show is based on the 90s hit movie "Cruel Intentions," which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon. That film was based on the 18th-century French Novel "Les Liaisons Dangereuses"
According to Actorsingers, the plot of the show involves step-siblings Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil, who place a bet on whether or not Sebastian can deflower the incoming headmaster's daughter.

"As the two set out to destroy the innocent girl, and anyone else who gets in their way, they find themselves playing a perilous game with only one rule: Never fall in love," wrote Actorsingers in a description of the show.
The show is a "jukebox musical" driven by a score full of some of the 1990s top hits from artists like Christina Aguilera, N-Sync, No Doubt and Boyz II Men.
"The production promises a heavy dose of nostalgia with a modern twist that will be nothing short of the perfect blend of sinister and sexy," Actorsingers said in a statement.
The theater group said the musical contains themes that are not suitable for teens and children.
