Dad Takes Child Across State Lines, Violates Custody Terms

Stanley Osuri will be arraigned Oct. 15 on a child custody violation.

Stanley Osuri, 48 of 423 Shasta St., Manchester, was arrested Oct. 11 by Nashua Police on a warrant for interference with custody, a class B felony.

On October 1, 2013 at approximately 6 p.m. members of the Nashua Police Department’s Youth Services Division received a report that Osuri had left the state with his child and was refusing to return the child to the mother, of Nashua, who has physical custody of the child. A subsequent investigation by the Youth Services Division revealed that Osuri was interfering with custody, and an arrest warrant was completed for him.

Both Osuri and the child, a toddler, were located in Virginia. Osuri was arrested Oct. 3 in Fairfax County as a fugitive in that state and brought back to New Hampshire upon waiving extradition. The child was unharmed and was returned safely to the complainant.
