Driver Killed In Nashua Crash

NASHUA, NH -- A Derry man was killed in a Nashua crash early Friday morning on Kinsley Street. Justin Petkewich, 35, was driving a Chrysler 200 sedan and hit several trees, a car and house at about 2 a.m., according to Nashua Police Lt. Craig Allard. Petkewich was the sole occupant in his vehicle; no one else was hurt in the crash.

Petkewich was trapped in the vehicle and firefighters used cutting equipment to free him, according to Nashua Deputy Fire Chief Steve Buxton. Petkewich was pronounced dead at the scene before medics had a chance to transport him to the hospital.

Allard said Petkewich was driving east on Kinsley Street when he veered off the road and hit several trees, the side of an apartment building and a parked vehicle.

An investigation was ongoing to determine why Petkewich veered off the road.
